Plus Size In Heels 👠

Image
Well here’s a shocking truth brought to you by yours truly…you are never “too fat” for high heels. Wear whatever you want, no matter your size! Plus size heels are actually in plentiful supply and are cuter than ever! However, since it can be hard to find options that suit every weight, taste, and budget, I decided to put together a list of the best (cutest and most comfortable) high heels that big women can get! And, even beyond that, I have created a 3 step process that will enable any overweight woman to wear heels again. Are you ready for it? Here is the process for wearing high heels when you’re overweight: Find heels that you like. Put them on. Wear them. Fiercely.        That’s all there is to it! No matter how big you are, you are entitled to wear whatever you like (you just might be super comfortable). However, as with most things, it’s easier said than done. Since I assume you already know how to put on shoes and walk, let’s discuss that major hang-up for most people: findi

Hi everyone i hope you gooood👋. Today we are going to talk about the " swim wear fear" Trying on a bikini under unflattering dressing room lights has ever soured your mood, rest assured you're not alone. Traditional Attires For the Curvys

Image
Traditional dresses in South Africa are gaining in popularity. Both amongst the baby boomer and millennial generation. With a diverse range of tribes with in South Africa its no surprise that there is a broad dichotomy of styles to choose from. many African cultures, age and social standing determines the type of clothes a person wears. This is particularly poignant when it comes to modern traditional dresses for women. The best traditional dresses are typically made on printed dyed cotton fabric. The most common type are shweshwe dresses. If you’ve ever been to a wedding or birthday function you’d most likely have some The fabric is manufactured in a variety of different colours and printed designs comprised of intricate geometric shapes and patterns. Plus-size Models have a positive effect on everyone's mental health

Image
When it comes to famous size models, you've probably heard of Ashly Graham and Tess Holiday, but ain't the only stylish curve model out there.  Worldwide beauty standards have been a controversial topic of discussion for several years now. The representation of all shapes, sizes and skin tones has been difficult to integrate into the modelling industry and as a result, we have seen a similar body type across marketing campaigns for years.  Social media algorithms have been targeted as only promoting a certain body type to audiences however new research from Boston University highlights that more plus-size models are making a sizable impact across platforms, representing a potential shift in the inclusivity matrix of modeling. While the American standard of beauty appears to idolize extreme thinness as seen in Victoria Secret models and their diminishing body sizes, we sought to explore the impact of plus-size models by reviewing their body size metrics and social media presen

Wear it with pride its yours too!!!

Hi guyz👋 I hope you are good wherever you are. Today we are going to look at Imvunulo (traditional attire) of the young girls of the Zulu culture. Ok some people may say I promote obesity and unhealthy habits, but I'd like to say I'm a body Advocate. There is this thing where you will find people criticizing chubby girls when they are wearing their short attires at the ceremonies.  They will be labeled with names because they have cellulite and black inner thighs. Every time they are always compared to slim ladies, forgeting it's what they should be wearing because being chubby doesn't mean you should wear old people's attire. Some people think we should bow down to their level to satisfy their expectations. NO!!! that has to stop. We will wear what suits us!!! My Body My Rules🗣

Weight Stigma Is A Burden Around The World

Image
Many people living in higher-weight bodies have experienced stigma and discrimination. One manifestation of this is weight-based bullying. Weight based bullying doesn't just happen among youth, sometimes adults contribute to this problem. For example athletic coaches or health counselors may make weight related comments to or about youth in front their peers. This body shaming may be experienced as bullying. The important thing to remember is that bullying, not a person's body size or appearance is the problem. Focusing on changing someone's body should never be considered the solution to bullying behavior. Here are some dos and don't s for adults and youth when it comes to weight based bullying.  Do Call out bullying when you see it. Emphasize that nobody deserves to be teases. Recognize the behavior, not someone's size as the problem. Stand up for others who may be targeted because of their bodies. Stay in a group - friends can intervene and help make the bullyi

Tips To Positive Body Image

Image
Your health is not determined by your size. Idolizing the " dream body" will not make you happy. Realize that negativity you experience in life is not your body's fault. Don't let anyone determine how you feel about your body. You are meant to be you. You are more than a label. Celebrate your body's strengths. Stop letting you and your friends self- deprecate. Dress for your body. Enjoy your body now.

Introduction

Hi. I'm Nokuthula Sithole, I'm originally from Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal but I'm currently staying in Richardsbay. I'm currently a University of Zululand's third year student doing a Diploma in Public Relations. As this is my final year, I have developed skills in journalism and communication, where I solely write news articles, report  news and public speaking. I grasped the learned techniques of Digital communications and Media studies very well. I want to further strengthen my knowledge and skills. Considering this, I want to one day become a News writer or a journalist because I find interest in traveling and getting to know everyone and everything. Being a university student has taught me many things and got to know a lot of people with different personalities and different mindsets. Besides being a university student, I'm a chubby girl and my goal is to encourage those curvy girls to love and embrace their bodies. But most importantly, they must love themse
