Hi guyz👋 I hope you are good wherever you are. Today we are going to look at Imvunulo (traditional attire) of the young girls of the Zulu culture. Ok some people may say I promote obesity and unhealthy habits, but I'd like to say I'm a body Advocate. There is this thing where you will find people criticizing chubby girls when they are wearing their short attires at the ceremonies. They will be labeled with names because they have cellulite and black inner thighs. Every time they are always compared to slim ladies, forgeting it's what they should be wearing because being chubby doesn't mean you should wear old people's attire. Some people think we should bow down to their level to satisfy their expectations. NO!!! that has to stop. We will wear what suits us!!! My Body My Rules🗣
Your health is not determined by your size. Idolizing the " dream body" will not make you happy. Realize that negativity you experience in life is not your body's fault. Don't let anyone determine how you feel about your body. You are meant to be you. You are more than a label. Celebrate your body's strengths. Stop letting you and your friends self- deprecate. Dress for your body. Enjoy your body now.
